Management Consultation and Supervisory Training
Blomquist Hale Employee Assistance Program is prepared to assist your company with any workforce issue such as downsizing, termination, workplace violence, employee morale, diversity, and organizational change. Supervisors are trained to effectively address problems prior to taking disciplinary action by making a supervisory referral to Blomquist Hale. If properly used, this procedure provides significant protection against wrongful termination and ADA lawsuits.
Workshops and Seminars
Blomquist Hale Employee Assistance Program provides workshops and seminars on many topics. Each is approximately one hour long. Blomquist Hale is willing to develop workshops and seminars when requested by our clients if one of the developed topics does not meet their needs. We work closely with our clients to help them get the most out of their available workshops and seminars. Drug Testing Programs
Blomquist Hale is currently an integral part of the drug-free workplace program in many of the best known organizations in the Intermountain West including government sectors. Blomquist Hale has developed sophisticated systems that allow us to adapt these services to the programs and policies of each corporate client.
Coordination with Existing Health Plan
We are able to work with existing health plans of our corporate clients including co-pays, exclusions, covered services, etc. When referring employees into the companies mental health benefits, care is given to be sure that employees are referred to clinicians who are on the insurance companies provider list.
Critical Incident Interventions
Blomquist Hale Employee Assistance Program is prepared to assist your company with critical/traumatic events that effect the work site. This may be a robbery an accident a death, a shooting etc... Blomquist Hale counselors are professionally trained in crisis management and critical incident stress debriefing (CISD).
Managed Care Gateway Options
In addition to providing all the services listed above, Blomquist Hale functions as the managed care gateway of behavioral health benefits for many of its major clients. This unique approach to managed care directly attacks the rapidly escalating costs of psychiatric treatment including drug and alcohol dependence. Whereas most employees will access the employee assistance program to obtains help, there are always those who bypass the EAP and receive costly treatment elsewhere. The managed care gateway is designed to eliminate expensive outpatient therapy and unnecessary hospitalization when Blomquist Hale can provide appropriate treatment at no additional charge. This option ensures that a Blomquist Hale therapist has met face-to-face with the participant and has full knowledge of the facts in the case. The therapist has no financial incentive to admit the patient to higher levels of treatment. Each participant knows they have a helpful, knowledgeable professional assisting them to negotiate all of the steps necessary to obtain treatment. Obtaining proper help is made hassle-free and cost effective.
Some individuals desire frequent assistance with their life's problems. Through the managed care gateway, Blomquist Hale identifies these individuals and assigns a therapist to routinely follow-up with these individuals. This ensures compliance with the participant's treatment plan including the use of medications and helps them avoid hospitalization.
Pre-Certification for Hospitalization Blomquist Hale currently provides precertification prior to hospitalization for many of our clients. Each of these clients has experienced a substantial reduction in inpatient costs. Participants contact us before they are assessed at an inpatient facility. This allows our on-call crisis therapist to offer help and stabilize the situation without the necessity or cost of inpatient admittance.
Regular Liason Visits Each company is assigned a clinician who visits the work site quarterly to be a liaison. This regular interaction provide for ongoing evaluation of the EAP's value to the company and utilization of services.
Utilization Reports Blomquist Hale will issue statistical reports on the use of our services. We can create a detailed report providing a wealth of information without compromising the privacy of individual clients. |
