Blomquist
Hale is the premier provider of Employee Assistance programs in
the intermountain West. BHC has a proven track record of results
with over 110 corporate clients. Our success is due to our willingness
and ability to go far beyond the services of typical employee assistance
programs.

Providing Employee Assistance Program services is the principle
business for Blomquist Hale. Many other EAP providers are also mental
health centers, hospitals, private practice groups or insurance
companies. With BHC there is no conflict of interest. BHC's only
interest is delivering quality training to our business clients.

Traditional employee assistance programs generally serve clients
through sub-contracted therapists who are primarily interested in
their own private practice. In spite of assurances to the contrary,
it generally takes a week or two for a client to get a first appointment.
Blomquist Hale, however, places an extremely high emphasis on immediate
access and prompt response.
Access to our services is as simple as calling the office. All clients
are offered an appointment time generally within a couple of working
days of the initial call. Crisis cases are seen the same day, generally
within two hours. No paperwork or approval is needed and there is
no charge. Counselors are available around the clock for emergency
and crisis situations. Click here for

Blomquist Hale serves an average of 15% of the workforce and
their families every year as opposed to 3-7% of the workforce being
served by traditional employee assistance programs. Because there
are no surcharges for increased utilization, individuals are encouraged
to use BHC's services as soon as problems arise. Problems that are
solved in their earliest stages are likely to reduce absenteeism,
stress, accidents, long term disability costs, etc.

Traditional employee assistance programs limit the number of sessions
available each year and employers are surcharged if this number
is exceeded. It doesn't make sense for the participants to use up
their limited number of sessions only to be referred out because
their therapy wasn't complete. They must begin again with an expensive
mental health provider.
Most of our client Companies do not limit the number of sessions
available through the EAP. However, problems which will not respond
to short-term therapy are referred to contracted community providers
who provide services to our clients at a discounted rate. If a referral
is necessary, BHC stays in close contact with the client and the
treatment providers to assure quality care. Follow-up continues
until the problem is resolved.

The BHC EAP attempts to treat as many cases as possible completely
within the EAP, thereby saving the participant all the copays. Approximately
85% of all those who access the EAP for services get all the help
they need within the EAP. Most EAPs refer out about 40-60%..

BHC counselors use a brief, solution-focused therapy model. We teach
participants how to resolve their unique problems while assisting
them along the way.
BHC functions not only in a counseling capacity but also in a consulting
capacity with the employer. Workshops, seminars, on-site problem-solving,
critical incident debriefing, and assistance with down-sizing is
readily available to supervisors and other management staff.
